I don't know about any of you, but I'm much more creative in my mind than I am in reality. The aprons that I was going to sew from the COOLEST fabric? Yeah, still fabric in my fabric bin. The re-covered lampshades that were going to turn my Glitter Fairy Princess's room into the coolest room on the block? In my closet. Un-covered. This blog is about when I DO actually accomplish something, though. :)
When I want to do something fast and fun with my flighty 3-year-old I can always count on Michael's craft store. Whenever I'm wandering through the aisles feeding my scrapbook addiction I usually grab a bucket of foam stickers so GFP has something to play with. (She is usually not tricked, however, and would prefer to tear up the $5 layered embellishments.) This fall I grabbed some foam maple leaves, a bucket of "fall" foam stickers, and figured that we'd be able to turn it into something. That "something" is a wreath of our family. I printed pics of each of us and then let her put the stickers around them. Then we glued them to a circle of paper I'd cut out and this is what we got:
